Zetec Ltd, founded founded
in 1995, is an engineering-based design service, with expertise in design
of cosmetic items, large assemblies and intricate mechanisms. Projects
undertaken include ride-on electric vehicles, office furniture, kitchen/bathroom
and outdoor appliances, cosmetics, food containers, architectural fittings,
automotive decorative components, marine equipment, moulds for boat hulls
and cabins, automotive instrumentation, door-locks, engines and scientific
equipment. Since July 1996 when the first copy of Solidworks was
purchased, Zetec has completed more than 50 such projects.
Our gallery page exhibits some of the work which our
clients have approved for display – we are very grateful to them for their
permission.
We have staff based in Auckland, New Zealand and some
associates who assist on an as-required basis, with skills in industrial
design, electronics, animation and web-authoring, rapid prototyping and
toolmaking. |

Managing Director:
Paul Zwaan has 16 years experience in product
design, project management and electronics. He qualified with an
M.E. in 1982 and since then has worked in the fields of scientific equipment,
healthcare and electronic products, small electric vehicles and lectured
in electrical engineering. Much of his experience is drawn from R&D
management positions during 12 years service at Fisher & Paykel. |
